Identical Facebook avatars created in Jomsocial every login was created by Zandee

At the JFBConnect backend, i set "Always import Profile data" to "YES".

I noticed that everytime a user logs in to my Joomla website via JFBConnect, a new avatar image file is created for that user by Jomsocial, with a different random filename. So if the user logs-in 3 times for that day, a total of 3 identical avatars are created, each having a different randomized filename.

If the same user logs-in 3 times a day for 5 days in a row, a total of 15 completely identical avatars are created for that user! Imagine if i have 200 users who log in multiple times a day! Identical avatars get multiplied! I already disabled the Jomsocial Facebook plugin. Only JFBConnect is working. I'm not sure why Jomsocial is treating every avatar retrieval from Facebook via JFBConnect, as a new image saved on the disk every time.

That's a bug in our JomSocial plugin which we already have a fix for. The new update, with a few other additions, should be out over the next few weeks. If you'd like the fix now, we can gladly provide the few lines of code you'd need to change. However, please let us know what version of the JomSocial profile plugin you're using so we know the code you'd need to modify.

Also, please post from the account you subscribed to JFBConnect from. Priority support is for active subscribers only.
