If you always want the same image used for every Like button clicked (like your logo), then go into the Open Graph -> Configuration area of JFBConnect and in the "Defaults" box, add the following line:
image=http://yoursite.com/link-to-image.jpg
Obviously, update the URL and link to image with what you want used.

That will set the same image for all pages of your site to be used when Like'd or Sent to a friend. As for 'no information from Virtuemart', I'm not sure what you mean there. Do you want a standard description for all your pages (easily done) or something else?

Thanks,
Alex

After you add a 'default' setting, it can take a few days for Facebook to detect the changes. Can you run your page through the Facebook URL Debug Tool to check the page and see if the updated image is working? That will also refresh Facebook's cached data for that page.

To set the description, add the following line to the "Defaults" box, under the image= setting from earlier:
description=Whatever description you want for all pages
Again, check the Debug Tool above to make sure the new description is set.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Hi,

Your solution works, however it is not only for the main page and now every like from any products(for exampele ) on store have the same picture and text which is bad for me.
I am looking for solution only for the front page all the rest should stay the same – please advise.

Thank you.

From your description above, I thought you wanted the same across your entire site.

If you want to set the description for any specific page, add the following 'tag' to that page:
{SCOpenGraph description=Description for this specific page}
So, if your home page is a Joomla article or Virtuemart product category, you can enter that into the content area. JFBConnect will strip the tag out before it displays on the front-end and add the proper Open Graph tag.

Also, make sure you remove the Default description tag I recommend in the posts above.

Hope that helps, but if you have any other questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
