I've been trying to recreate the settings you mention, and I can't do so. I have "Show unauthorized Links" enabled, and am displaying a category with registered content. If I click into the article, I'm properly brought to the Login page.

Can you try the following:
* Disable the JFBConnect Content plugin - Does the error go away?
* Disable the Open Graph - Content plugin - Does the error go away?
** If so, re-enable the Open Graph - Content plugin. Go into the Open Graph settings and disable each Object you have published. Test again.
** If the error goes away, re-enable each object one by one and find the one that makes things break. Then, let me know all of the settings in the right-hand side parameters.

That will help us setup a similar development site and understand what's happening to cause that error on your page.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, I had tried what you recommended. The situation is that:
1.It must be related to open graph. If I disable the Open Graph - Content plugin, the error disappeared.
2.Re-enable the Open Graph - Content plugin. Go into the Open Graph settings and disable each Object I have published. The error still there. And I also tried to disable each actions I have published, but still has the error.
Thanks.

Can you post, or Private Message, links to pages where the error occurs? Mainly:
* Send a link to the article itself, even if that redirects to the Login page.
* If there's a blog view that you access the article from, let me know that too so we see how a user would normal 'click through' to see the registered view.

We're unsure how to recreate the issue, so we need more information on why the problem is happening and how to recreate it ourselves so that we can diagnose and fix it.

Thanks,
Alex

I just installed JFBConnect 5 for Joomla 2.5 and it crashed my Joomla website.

Here is the error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JFBConnectFacebookLibrary::getUserId() in /home/content/d/u/o/duocopy/html/bd/LB/modules/mod_jfbclogin/mod_jfbclogin.php on line 24

Please help asap as my site is completely down now.

Background: I'm running Joomla 2.5, Joomlashine Epic template, K2 v2.5.1
In running the Error check under AutoTune I'm getting a FAIL on 1.Test: JFBCSystem plugin is enabled. Fail: Not Detected! Please enable in Site Config area of Autotune or Jooma plugin manager.

I've disabled the mobile template already. My thinking is that K2 has a user module and that might be a conflict, but I thought JFBConnect was compatible with K2.
Site is liddlebuddie.com

Miles,
The JFBCLogin module is very old. You should configure and enable the SCLogin module instead, which has been included with JFBConnect since v4.0. The SCLogin module was a replacement for the JFBCLogin module which hasn't had any development on it in over a year. If you still have any questions or issues, please create a new thread as your issue above is unrelated to this topic.

Bettychung- we are still looking into your issue, but I unfortunately don't have any updates right now. I'm hoping to later today.

Hope that helps,
Alex

FATAL ERROR

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JFBConnectFacebookLibrary::getUserId() in /home/content/d/u/o/duocopy/html/bd/LB/modules/mod_jfbcfeed/mod_jfbcfeed.php on line 20

I've unpublished JFBCLogin and enable SCLogin and now I'm getting the message above. Is JFBCFeed old too?

When I run the Autotune Error Check here is the message I get:
==================================================
Checks performed on: liddlebuddie.com/LB/
Warning: Issues were found with your site. Please check all tests below and correct any warnings or errors.

Test: JFBCSystem plugin is enabled
Fail: Not Detected! Please enable in the Site Config area of Autotune or in the Joomla plugin manager.

If enabled, but you still get this error, please check:
If you have a 'mobile template', disable and re-test
Some templates have their own Facebook integration, and actively try to remove other Facebook extensions files. Try a different template.

No further tests can be run until fixed.

If you haven't updated to the v5.0.0 release of JFBCFeed, then yes, it's old. Please check the Admin Overview page of JFBConnect or the Joomla Update Manager area to ensure that all your modules are up to date.

Autotune is not successful because your home page has that fatal error on it. Once you clear that up, run Autotune again.

Again, if you have further issues, please create a new thread. This thread is unrelated to your issue(s) and it's best to keep topics separated so that we can best help all of our users.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex,
I got past the problem by deleting all of the 4.0 modules and republishing the JFBClogin module.
The site is up and running so now I have to start the task of configuring the new 5.0 version of JFBConnect.
I promise I'll open up a new thread in the future.

Regards,
Miles M.
