Betty,
What happens when it fails? Are you seeing an error message or other notification, or simply not logged into your site at all?

Have you installed the Social Profiles - Community Builder plugin that comes with JFBConnect and configured that?

Let us know more about how you've set things up and what is actually happening when it fails, and we'll gladly help investigate what may be wrong.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

I was wondering if there is anyway to give certain access level to all the people that log-in into my site.
I want to be able to make all the people who log-in with Facebook or Jlinked be able to add events with JEvents and Add Articles.
How can I configure access level for people that log-in with Facebook and Jlinked

Santiagobart,
Your question isn't related to the original post. Please create a new thread in the future if you have a new question instead of replying to other topics.

As to your question, right now, there's no configuration option for setting what access level the user will. JFBConnect and JLinked use the default user level for all users. If you are ok with some code customizations, we should be able to provide you some code that you could add into our extensions to force the user to be in a different user group instead of the default.

If you'd like that, please create a new thread and let us know that you'd like the code and we can look into it. Also, please let us know if you're using any 3rd party user management extensions, like Community Builder or JomSocial. That may need extra changes as well to support the user group modification you're looking for. It may take a few days to find the exact change to make, so please be patient.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, when login the pop up window only says enter error nothing error information, and then I click the confirm button it log in to my facebook page, not my site.
Indeed, I installed the Social Profiles - Community Builder plugin. For the configuration setting please see the attached image. Thanks!

If you're getting the "An error occurred" message, it's usually from one of a few reasons:
* You haven't run Autotune, or need to re-run it. Go into the Autotune - FB App area and hit the "Refresh" button. Make sure all the settings as we recommended.
* Your app is in Sandbox mode, or other wise restricted. Go to the developers.facebook.com/apps area, edit your app settings and make sure you haven't restricted your app in some way.

Hope that helps,
Alex
