Hello, new subscriber here. I see you guys give great technical support. I tried to locate an updated post that could perhaps help me but haven't had any luck so far. I've been having the worse luck today trying to register people using Facebook. I've been toying with it for at least 6 hrs and I think it's time to ask for help.

I want to add the login with facebook option to Jomoscial's hello me mod. I tried placing the {JLinkedLogin} code into the modules/mod_hellome/tmpl/default.php file and haven't had any luck. It just shows the text itself.

I'm using Jomsocial Version: 2.8 and Joomla Joomla! 2.5.9. Eyes tired and I'm a bit frustrated lol. Please help!

If you tried {JLinkedLogin}, that's likely the issue. You should be using {JFBCLogin} for the "Login with Facebook" button. JLinked is our LinkedIn integration extension.

If that doesn't work, check the Social configuration area of JFBConnect and the "Misc" tag. There is an "Admin Render Key" setting there. Just leave it blank for now and hopefully that will help.

Finally, check if you have the System - Cache plugin enabled. If so, make sure it's the last (highest numbered) plugin. If you change these settings, also clean the Joomla Cache.
