Problems with JFBC
This is a fresh install of JFBC and we have it set to auto-crate the new user account along with the setting to "auto-generate" a password but, that portion doesn't seem to be working. All we see is this error message: Empty Password Not Allowed for this site

Problems with JFBLI
Erroring out with too many redirects. See attached screenshot.

OK, I tracked down the password issue to Community Builder so, I'll get back on that one. As for too many redirects on the LI connect, thats still a mystery.

Too many redirects can be for a few reasons. First, try disabling any Social Profile plugins you have enabled and test again. If that helps, re-enable them one by one and only enable the ones you need (don't enable plugins for extensions you don't have).

Next, check your New User and Returning User redirection settings and make sure they are set properly and not to a menu item that's set as Special or some other menu item that may not work for registered users.

Finally, you look to have some SEF extension installed; the SEF URL in that picture isn't being created by Joomla's normal SEF. Try disabling that SEF extension, temporarily. If that works, there is usually a way to 'skip' SEF URLs for specific extensions. You'll need to tell your SEF extension to 'skip' JFBConnect and JLinked.

Thanks as always for the prompt replies. The culprit was a plugin the user had installed that would auto-login the user after registering with the site. Once I disabled that the password cannot be empty message went away. Time to go test LinkedIn
