I see 2 sites in Autotune. Can you let me know what one you're having issues with? We'll have to test as I'm not sure why you'd be having issues.

The only thing I can suggest to test with is, in the SCLogin module, switch to using a Custom image or text link, even temporarily, and see if that works. It's possible the Javascript button from Facebook is just having issues with IE10.

Let us know if that helps, or a site where we can see things.

Thanks,
Alex

Allen,
Thanks for the link. I just did some testing on your site. I'm not sure why the Javascript button isn't working, but from what I can tell, a custom image button would. It's likely due to new security settings with IE10 and something Facebook will have to fix on their own (there have been other similar reports, though not common).

To create your own custom button, you just need to use the following code instead of the {JFBCLogin} tag:
<a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="jfbc.login.login_custom();"><img src="/linktoimage.jpg" /></a>
The image you use there can be anything. You can even take a screenshot of the 'big' login button you have now and just make an image out of it, so it will look the same.

Please test with the custom image and see if that helps. If not, let us know, and we'll gladly investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Need to investigate further... I just edited it and it does not work. I'm losing my investor in the site because this has been an issue. I still want to make a go of it, but still can't get it to work right.

Your solution works with Chrome, Safari, and Firefoxe... IE - 10 NOT.

I'm just curious why it works on your site and not mine... there is something I am missing... and it has to be something very very small.

Were you having issues with Chrome, Safari and Firefox as well.. or does our solution just continue to work with those browsers? Just want to make sure.

I'm not seeing any cause as to why it wouldn't work in IE10 either. The only open IE10 bug I found is:
developers.facebook.com/bugs/148894658602510
There is a comment in there does say:

The problem was a security-property that has to be changed in the IE:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Safety -> the check-box "Enable Protection Mode" has to be enabled then it will work with a synchronous as well as an asynchronous FB.init. In the local Intranet settings this Option is default disabled...

That shouldn't be necessary, and obviously isn't for our site.. but it's worth trying to see if that helps just to narrow things down.

My next suggestion to try, again to narrow things down, is to switch your template to something like "Atomic", which is a very barebones template. Then, add the SCLogin module or create a login button somewhere on that page and try again. Doing that will eliminate a lot of template Javascript and other things that could be conflicting, but not everything. There is a lot of jQuery and other Javascript on your page, and simply switching templates will help eliminate a lot of those as possible causes.

Let us know how that goes,
Alex

Alzander,

No issue with any other browser than IE 10. IE 9 on my old win 7 machine works just fine.

IE 10 works on your site.

I'm sure it's something small. I have no other template in my joomla.

It has to be something small that I'm over looking.

Allen,
I couldn't access the admin area of your site with the credentials you sent. I just kept getting "Username/password don't match" errors. Can you check the credentials you sent?

I'd like to do some testing but would need access to do so. It does look like you switched to using JomSocial's FB integration. Is that working in IE10? That would certainly help narrow things down, assuming you're using the same Facebook App ID and key.

If there's anything else you can tell me about what you're testing, what's worked and what hasn't, and if you want us to investigate further (with new admin credentials), we'll gladly help how we can.

Thanks,
Alex
