The alerts are just messages from Facebook. They will stay in in the alert area forever. What you can do is click the "Fix Now" button and then, you'll see a full listing of any messages you may have. In the top right of each message, you can click to "Archive" the message and remove it.
In short though, there's nothing to worry about.
