Permissions was created by perigono
Hello,
Probably, I am missing some very basic knowledge but after hours trying to solve my problem by myself, I am forced to ask for help. I managed to create several fields for the JomSocial profile to be filled with the information from facebook, like "Activities", "Movies",etc. When I try to use the "Login with facebook" button, the popup window only asks permission for the education history. Shouldn't be more than one permission request there? Could you help me, please? Thanks.

Using your autotune data, I looked at your site. The current set of permissions being requested are:
email,user_birthday,user_about_me,user_location,user_education_history,user_interests,user_activities,user_likes,user_religion_politics,user_status,publish_stream
So, I think the correct permissions are likely being requested. I also hit the Login with Facebook button and saw that all the permissions were in the popup.

There's 2 things that may be happening:
* You've already approved those other permissions. If you did that, and then update the fields that are being imported into JomSocial, then only the 'new' permissions will be requested of a user that's already approved the others.
* You have Joomla's System - Cache plugin enabled and the 'old' permissions were cached temporarily.

Hope that helps, but if you have any questions, let us know,
Alex

Thank you for your prompt response, Alex. I did not expect you would be paying attention to this matter so quickly. But, it is not the first time!
I think the first option you suggested seems to be the correct one. So, if I do not see all the permissions, it doesn't mean that they are not been requested.
Thank you again, Alex. Your customer support is excellent!

That's correct. You only see the permissions your user hasn't approved. If you want to test, you can go to your Account Settings in Facebook and then to "Applications" and delete your website application from your *user* profile. You should *not* delete the actual application from the developer area. Once removed from your user profile, when you use the "login with Facebook" button, all the permissions will be requested again.

Hope that helps explain, but if you need anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
