Hi,

I am trying to work out if it is possible to post something to a users FB feed (similar to the register and login posts) when they view a specific article.
So when an article is viewed by a user that is logged in, it will post to their feed saying "is now viewing the xyz page on xyz website"

Is something like this possible with a line of code?

Okay I'm an idiot ;)

Didn't realise this is what open graph was for... However...
I'm confused in setting this up despite following the few instruction that I can find.

I have created the read action in my app for facebook but not sure what I now need to do with JFBConnect.

Chris,
We have a full guide on Facebook Open Graph Actions for Joomla , and our example is for 'reading an article'. That should guide you through the process.

The one thing to note right now is that Facebook is changing the behavior of the actions that automatically post when a user 'consumes' content, like reading an article, watching a video, etc. They've temporarily removed that the action will post to a user's Timeline, but it does still post to the Ticker and other areas where it can be seen by a user's friends.

Hope that helps get you started,
Alex
