Can you let us know a page where we can see the Fan module in action? That will help us see what width have you configured in the parameters. If you haven't configured a width parameter, please make sure you set one in the module. Facebook states that the minimum supported width is 292px, but it generally works in smaller widths.

As for responsive, the Fan module is not able to dynamically resize. So, it will need to be in a fixed-width column, although it's free to shift as the dimensions change.

Hope that helps,
Alex

You can't override the JFBCFan module with your own CSS. You have to use the parameters within the module. Facebook doesn't allow CSS overrides anymore as it was abused to make the module look completely different. So, you'll need to find settings available in the parameters that will work for you. As I mentioned above, the Fan module will not automatically resize in a responsive column in your template. That column can freely shift as the browser view changes, but it won't be able to shrink or grow dynamically.

As for the border color, I don't think you can remove it, but you can set the border color to the same as your background color. That will make it blend in and be invisible.

I hope that helps,
Alex
