I'm pretty sure I've got everything setup correctly - ran autotune...etc. I'm wondering if it's a template issue. Both FB and Linkedin should be showing...

Joomla: 2.5.9
Jomsocial: 2.6.2
Template: Gavick World News II

URL: www.the21stcenturyteacher.com SCLogin is published in the top right. I'm happy to provide login.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You don't look to have the JFBCSystem plugin enabled, which would explain why the Facebook login button isn't explaining. I'd also check the JLinkedSystem plugin. If already enabled, please make sure you've cleared your Joomla caches to make the updates work properly.

Additionally, looking at your site, your Gavick template integration features are still enabled. You should disable those in the template settings as leaving that enabled will likely cause some conflicts with JFBConnect.

Hope that helps, but if not, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for the very quick reply! - I do have both system plugins enabled and all FB template settings turned to off. Like 1 out of every 10 refreshes both buttons come up and seem to function correctly...but if I navigate away and come back they are both text again?

Ahh.. Excellent description. Check if your System - Cache plugin is enabled. If so (or if you have some other 'optimization' plugins), make sure they are ordered last (highest number) so that they execute after all other plugins. Then, again, clear cache again.

If that doesn't work, try disabling your caching in the Global Configuration area of Joomla and see if that makes any difference.

Keep us posted,
Alex

Setting the System - Cache to ordered last and disabling cache in global config seems to have done it! I'll let you know if anything changes. Thanks so much for your help, Alzander.

Awesome! Glad to hear we got you going. That is a common mistake and will fix other problems you may run into with other extensions as well. Should you run into anything else, let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:
