Installed all plugins under profiles folder of the download and yet it remains as uninstalled. Is there some plugin I need to publish?

Never mind. I realized its the 5.0 version addition. Installed the latest release for 2.5.x and also the kunena plugin

Yup, we moved to new profile plugins which work for JLinked as well as JFBConnect. It will help us more easily add other social network integration over the next few months.
