Hi Alex

Do you have any plans to develop a plugin for mosets tree?

I use mosets for a few directory sites and have recently integrated JFBconnect, which is working great for user registration / login and like buttons.

I would love it if there was a plugin to enable open graphs integration for actions in the directory and pull profile picture from facebook (mosets now contains a profile picture module that is integrated with joomla profile).

I would be happy to assist you with testing any development.

You can see my websites here: HoteldiIndo.com , Indonesian-Restaurant.com , Indonesian-Recipe.com

Thanks

Max

Max,
Mosets Tree is something we have on our radar to investigate for Open Graph, but I don't have any immediate timeline for when it'd be available. The Joomla Extension Directory uses (a heavily modified version of) Mosets Tree. They also use JFBConnect. So, we did approach them to see if they wanted an Open Graph plugin for actions. They're in the process of a big upgrade to their whole site, so they didn't want anything right now.

We'd still like to do one for them and the users of both Mosets Tree and JFBConnect. It's unfortunately not the highest priority integration we have though. The nice thing is that our Open Graph plugins are only about 100 lines of code, so they're not overly difficult for a developer to implement, should you have one.

The same goes for our profile plugins. The upcoming v5.0 release greatly eases the process for making profile plugins, and we're hoping to expand the extensions we support with that release.

Hope that helps answer your question, even if there are no direct.. answers :) If you ever chat with the Mosets Developers, feel free to let them know you'd like to see integration between our extensions, or refer them to this thread. It may help get a conversation going. Otherwise, we'll likely reach out to them in a few months when we're trying to broaden our integration plugin suite.

Thanks,
Alex
