Hi Alex,

I'm in the process of configuring JFBConnect and got a "Fetching Failed" error when going through Error Check in Auto Tune.

I read an earlier post where you suggested putting the URL into this site: www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php to check for bad headers. I did so, first with the secure URL (which is how the app pulled up my site), and that produced the error, and then with the non-secure URL, which did NOTproduce any error. So it appears that the error is produced because the app is configured for the https URL. I attempted to change the site URL on the Facebook Application Configuration Page, App Info tab, but I get an error that it must be the https version of the URL.

Do you have any insights?

Are you accessing the admin area of your site using https? If so, then the auto-configuration tool will try to configure your app as though your site should run in SSL mode.

In the FB App settings area of Autotune, you can change any of the URLs to be non-SSL if you want.

However, the Error Checker tool will try to use whatever scheme (http or https) your admin area is being run in. So, if you want it to test your site in non-https mode, make sure you are in the administrator area in non-https mode as well.

Thanks for the tip. Logging in with the non-secure mode (http) did the trick. No errors were produced.
