JFBCFan Cut Off was created by cwash05
Hi All
anybody having an issue with the bottom of the JFBCFan box being cut off at the bottom? Running J2.5 Gantry, Rockettheme template. It's in a siderber
position.

using
{JFBCFan height=350 width=250 colorscheme=light href=http://www.facebook.com/dafunkphotos show_faces=true stream=true header=true border_color=#3e2f63 force_wall=false}

not matter what i change the height to, it either cuts off the bottom or tries to start another row of images.

It's usually a simple styling issue with your template where there is an overflow:hidden style set on the div that the Fan module is placed in. If you can post, or Private Message, a link to a page where we can see the issue, we should be able to help figure out the CSS issue if you can't yourself.

Thanks,
Alex

The overflow setting were set to visible. I added the facepile to the same sidebar area and it expanded, but the fan part still cut off a the bottom.

Cheezz,
Thanks for the pictures. However, it's extremely difficult to diagnose the problem without actually seeing the page where the module is being rendered. Can you please post, or Private Message, a URL where we can see what's actually happening?

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the private message with the site info. I just tried the page you sent, but the Fan module wasn't showing up for me at all. If I tried to go to the actual Fan Page, I'm redirected to the Facebook home page. That usually means your Page is restricted in some way (geographically, age, or just turned off to the public).

Anyways, I did get some information from your settings and found another similar post from another user recently. Please check out the thread below and see if that helps explain your issue and maybe gives you some ideas on settings for width/height that may work for you:

Hope that helps,
Alex

ok i see now. yes if make the width 290 then it will show the bottom border. Also if you show the stream with out the faces. Looks like anything below 290 isn't enough for a completer row of face images, and the last image is going to the next row. And so on down the line.

As for it not showing up at all, are you using FF. that's another problem i need to address.

Cheezz,
I was using Chrome. When I simply tried to go to your Facebook Fan page url, I was redirected immediately back to the Facebook home page. Please try logging out of Facebook and then go to your FB Page URL. If you're redirected as well, it means your Page has restrictions on it where the user has to be logged into Facebook and needs to be of certain demographics. Or, your Page could simply be disabled so only admins can see it.

Let me know if that helps narrow things down. Glad you got the sizing thing going, even if it is a bit strange what Facebook is doing.
