I was playing with some settings but now when I try to get to the settings of JFB connect in the back end I get a blank screen.
Please help. Here are the errors I see when I enabled it:

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do... Does the overview page of JFBConnect work? Is it just the Configuration page that is throwing that error, or is it all of the admin pages?

From the looks of that error, it seems like Joomla is restricted edit access to JFBConnect. That's not something we've seen before, and we don't have logic to check for user-levels when editing. So, something seems to be restricting things, but not sure what.

Finally, as for the "I was playing with some settings", were those in JFBConnect or settings in Joomla itself? Knowing what you were doing may help us narrow things down.

Thanks,
Alex

NO, only Jfb, I can't get to any of the JFB pages in the back end. I can get to all other coms without a problem.

It happened when I just unchecked connect with facebook because it was impossible for me to log out and I wanted to get rid of the https redirect.

What setting did you uncheck that's called 'connect with facebook'? Was that in our settings area, or somewhere else in Joomla? Sorry for mis-understanding, but again, I'm not sure what could be happening or why, and knowing exactly what you did, from what page(s) on your site, will help us to understand the problem more and hopefully provide a solution.

Is it possible to re-check whatever box you unchecked before?
Can you go to the Extension Manager of Joomla and ensure that the JFBConnect Component is marked as 'Enabled'?
Do you have any other super admin accounts on your site? If so, can you try logging in with one of them to see if they can get to the JFBConnect area?

Thanks,
Alex

yes

It was in jfb.

That's ok.

Is it possible to re-check whatever box you unchecked before?
I did before I posted the question and cleaned the cash but it's the same.

Yes, all but community builder are enabled.

Do you have any other super admin accounts on your site? If so, can you try logging in with one of them to see if they can get to the JFBConnect area?
Just did that but it's the same.

I do think that you are right. Some how it looks like a permission setting but I don't know how to reverse it.

Glad you found the issue. If you're on the latest release, v4.3.4, the StringUtilities error you mentioned shouldn't be happening. Either way, if things are working for you, that's the important thing.

Should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
