It's definitely on the plate for this year. I'm not giving a timeline, because we've done that in the past, and never lived up to them. Twitter (and other) social integration is high on our priority list now.
The upcoming v5.0 release of JFBConnect is the stepping stone to making other social integration easier. With the 5.0 release, we're changing things so that both JLinked and JFBConnect share the same profile plugins. That will make it much, much simpler to create Twitter integration since we would already have the profile plugin system complete. The new plugin system also adds incentive for other developers to create profile plugins, since they'd work with more social networks.
After v5.0 of JFBConnect is out and v2.0 of JLinked is out, Twitter will likely be the next thing on our plate. Hopefully, that means sooner than later, but integration is a difficult thing with a lot of moving parts, so it's tough to know when it'd be ready.
