In open graph whenever an action is pushed to a user's timeline, the Facebook connection is lost, i..e. Connect this site to your Social network appears. click the connect button and it reconnects. This I suspect is why a read action that previously worked, no longer does, despite the fact the blue panel appears. Upload images and join groups OK.

Confused!

Not sure why that would happen. I know you mentioned at one point that you were using another login provider for Facebook. Are you still using LoginRadius? If so, can you disable that, temporarily, and test again? My only guess is that their Facebook connection is interfering with ours.

With that disabled, if you are still disconnected after an Open Graph action, please leave it disabled and let us know a page that should post to the Timeline so we can test and see what's happening there.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex

Really appreciate the support.

Have switched all loginradius stuff off, cleared site and browser caches then re-tested.
Result the same. Upload photos triggered the loss of connection, but after a reconnect it pushed an upload photo message to the timeline
This was with a test user.
Using my FB account it has logged me out after trying to join a group
Will leave everything as is, per your reply.

You have a superuser access and FB on file with authorisation for backend access to both.

Much appreciated

Julie,
I just tested with my own Facebook account to join groups or go to the webcams article. In all cases, I wasn't disconnected after the action was attempted to be posted to my Timeline. I'm not an administrator of the FB app and don't have test account credentials, so in all cases, the action wasn't posted. Instead, the Activity Log just has an error stating that I'm not approved, which is also what's expected.

Can you let me know any additional steps I should take to try to recreate the issue? If I need to use a test user account to actually post the action to see my account disconnected, please Private Message me the test user's credentials. You can PM me by clicking the arrow under my name (<
) and hit the mail icon.

Finally, one thing that may or may not be related is the following Javascript errors on all of your pages;
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < kiwifriends.org:1
Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined widgetkit-db3fa67d-cd0ec984.js:2
Niether of those are related to JFBConnect (we don't use jQuery). However, we do rely heavily on Javascript functioning properly. If there are errors on the page, that can prevent or impair some of our functionality.

Hope that helps,
Alex
