Facebook like images

I'm not sure what you mean about a 'holding page'. As for setting the image, there's a few options:
* If the page is generated from a component that we have an Open Graph plugin for, like EasyBlog, Joomla Content, or K2 Content, simply install and enable that plugin. That will try to automatically detect and set the image for you.
* You can also set the image to use by adding the {SCOpenGraph image=http://yoursite.com/link-to-image.jpg} anywhere in the content of the page (article, module, template, etc).
* In the Open Graph -> Settings area, you can set a default image to be used across your entire site in case another image isn't set. That's great for a logo or something just to ensure some image is used.
