I have a simple integration of JFBCFan on a sidebar on my site and would like to have it just display the text feed from the two FB pages I follow. In other words, I don't want it to show the logos that are from the FB pages themselves. I already have it disabled so that it doesn't 'show faces' of users, but the page logos still appear. Can this be set to be 'text only'?

Hopefully that makes sense...and thanks in advance.

No, you can't. Facebook seems to want to make sure the user knows exactly what they are looking at. To do that, they will always show the logo and text of the Page itself so the user has familiarity and trust in what they're seeing.

You're free to play with the options for the Fan Box on the page below. If you find a configuration set that you like that you can't get going in the JFBCFan module, let us know, but I think we have all the options there covered:
developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/

Best of luck, and we hope you'll consider renewing your subscription again soon.

Thanks for the fast response - it makes sense why Facebook does it that way, but it's too bad that each new posting in the feed still has to show the picture since the text gets compressed to a narrow strip. Thanks for the link to the dev option page too. Yes, I will renew my subscription will be renewed once the new budget gets going. Thanks for the great product & support!

No problem for the help. We agree that we'd like a little more flexibility over the looks of that module, but alas, Facebook has other plans.

Best of luck, and we look forward to having you as a subscriber again.

Thanks,
Alex
