Hi,

After some testing and debugging I see that when I share some of my main pages i,e menus (not articles) the OG tag seems not to be what I expect.
OK..I use SH404sef for URL rewriting and use their SEO settings to add my decr, titles, images.
For articles that is OK but when I share a menu link i.e fruzitime.com/shows I only see title 'shows'. Since I use another plugin to add SEO I want to know if JFBC is doing someting other with these urls.
I also debugged developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/o...ruzitime.com%2Fshows

Joomla & K2 metadata are disanbled.

Here are the links that show other titles

www.fruzitime.com/shows

sh404SEF shouldn't cause a problem for your Open Graph tags. We test with sh404SEF and actually use it on this site. While I haven't tested recently if the meta data is pulled from their, I believe they properly set that data into the JDocument object, which is what we use to set the Open Graph tags.

One thing you may want to do is make sure the JFBCSystem plugin is ordered after the sh404SEF plugins to make sure they've setup all their meta data first.

If that doesn't work, let me know and we can do a little more testing to see what may be wrong.

Thanks,
Alex

I have checked the order of these 2 plugins: and Sh404sef is set at 10 and after that JFBC sustem at 42

Rodster,
Sorry for not getting back to this sooner. We just had another post similar (the same?) as this issue, and there was a quick fix the user posted that worked for him. You might want to check it out.
JFBConnect not using sh404SEF metas for Open Graph tags
It requires a small change to sh404SEF, which is something that should be in their code anyway. As noted there, you may want to contact sh404SEF to let them know how it would help if they use more Joomla-standard methods in addition to their own changes.

We haven't had much time to fully investigate, but hopefully that helps for now.

Thanks,
Alex
