When registering on my site via Facebook, JFBconnect displays the wrong user information! I've updated to the latest version- no change. As you can see in the screenshot, it thinks I'm Jorge... This is happening for all new Facebook registrations

James,
That's obviously not good, or right. Do you have caching enabled on your Joomla site? We do a lot to work around caching those values, but that's about the best thing I can think of is that the page was rendered for "Jorge" and then that is what's being displayed to the next user. If caching is enabled, please try to disable it (even temporarily) and test again.

On a side note, I just used the Login with Facebook button on your site and the greeting properly said "Welcome Alex!". Let me know if it says Alex, Jorge, or something else for you.

We'll help you get to the bottom of it one way or another. This isn't a widespread issue though (we'd hear a lot about it if it were), so we just need to understand what's happening differently on your site.

Thanks,
Alex

Good thinking on the caching. Cache was turned off in configuration, but the System Cache plugin was enabled. I disabled that and I THINK it's working now. Thank you!

Caching shouldn't be a problem, honestly, because we have a lot of checks in place to work around caching. However, it's the best guess I have from your description. If you want to try the caching plugin again, please ensure that it is the last (highest numbered) plugin as that's the proper position it should be in for normal operation.

Keep us posted if you run into any issues, and good luck,
Alex

Only things I had ordered after the cache were:
RokCandy
RokGzipper (was and is disabled)
jQuery Easy

Those should be before System - Cache in general to make sure that how they alter the page is properly cached. Otherwise, you'll be caching the page before those make their modifications.

I don't think that would be the problem though. Either way, keep testing and keep us posted if you run into other issues,
Alex
