I added the Login with Facebook button to the VM registration page. when a new user clicks on it, i see the popup, followed by an error message that you useracount has been disabled or not validated.

i want new users to click on login with facebook and their details used in the registration form. all fields are properly mapped in the backend with vm.

what am i doing wrong?

I just registered on your site on the page you linked to above without issue. Are you sure the email address of the Facebook user you're trying to connect with isn't already in your Joomla database.. and that user isn't blocked? Also, check the JFBConnect - UserMap area to make sure there isn't a mapping for that Facebook user to any user on your Joomla site, and if so, that that user is authorized to access the site.

when we try to register with a dummy user (email is not already in the system) we still get the error message...
any thoughts?

also, what user did you register with?

The account I registered with has the username "sourcecoast". Can you check that everything seems correct with that account?

If it does, then I'd recommend trying from a different account because it seems that somewhere on your Joomla site, some extension or Joomla itself thinks that email address is already taken.

I'm not sure how else to test since it works fine for me. I'm not sure if your site is really live yet and getting new users, but if so, can you check if other 'real' users are creating accounts on your site?
