When are you seeing that message?

My guess is that your Facebook application isn't properly configured. Have you run Autotune yet? That should setup your Application settings correctly for the domain you're running on.

Also, I'm not sure why that string isn't translated. We'll look into that as well once we know when you are seeing it.

Thanks,
Alex

Sluggo,
Glad to hear you got past... uh... whatever was happening :) Hopefully, that was just a hiccup on the path to bliss, but who knows. If you run into anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:

Thanks,

Hi... well, you know It seems I'm not though it just yet... as I have yet to get the fb login to work... and that error was a bit nasty... leading me to believe something is not right. We have this launch in a week, and this social media integration is in big part... but shouldn't be too big of a deal. if you could help me with this... you can access that server or anything else... in addition to being eternally grateful, I'll buy lunch next time I'm in Austin, which is pretty soon. Your choice!

Thanks sluggo

oh yeah... I'm using .. not a modal, but a slide doewn module for my login...
I read where you said to uncomment out a line... but I coouldn;t figure what that was...
anyway ?I'd like to test that fix first, so if you could please advise on how to get that going... graft....

Cheers!

The commenting of a line for the modal is very old information. The SCLogin module now has an option for Login Button Type, which you can set to "Image" type and simply add a link to an image you want to use.

If there's any other specific issues you're running into, just let us know, and we'll gladly help however we can.

Thanks,
Alex
