Cannot Reinstall JFBConnect!!!

Did you uninstall, or did you downgrade JFBConnect? Right now, we don't really support downgrades as that's not something that should be done or necessary.

If you did downgrade, to fix your problem, you'd need to go into your database and make the following modifications to 'revert' JFBConnect back to the v4.2 state:
* Remove the 'params' column from the __jfbconnect_user_map table
* Remove the following tables:
__opengraph_action
__opengraph_object
__opengraph_action_object
__opengraph_activity

Once your database is reverted, you can re-upgrade JFBConnect. We'll be adding more checks in the future to allow downgrades, but it just hasn't been necessary before.

We're going through our installation process and see where there may a problem even on re-installations. We'll be releasing a bug-fix release in the next few days which should properly allow re-installations after uninstalls. Until then, the advice above is still the best we can offer to get you going right now.

First off, we just released v4.3.4 of JFBConnect yesterday which fixes the downgrade/upgrade issues that you ran into before.

For the issue you're currently having, please go into the Configuration -> Misc tab and in the Experimental settings area, enable the "Strip tags from head" setting, or whatever it's called. Test to see if that fixes your problem and let us know how it goes.

Please, please, please, test many pages on your site to make sure everything works as expected. That includes pages that were working fine before. The experimental setting can cause issues on all pages of your site. In the past, before some recent changes, it was making some pages completely blank; which is why it's disabled by default. We're hoping this release doesn't cause the issues we've seen in the past, but we need user-confirmation and testing to verify.
