When I go to the update option of Joomla 2.5.8 I see the list of entries that are shown in the 1st Attachment - to see the error, I purged the cache and then did a find updates - this brought back the list and also the xml error
Update: : Extension: Could not open www.sourcecoast.com/updates/jfbconnect.xml

When I tried to update any one I get the message in image-2.
I am able to install manually after downloading it, but it doesnt go out of this option

You can see what I have installed in image 3.

This is not specific to 4.3.3, but was also present in 4.3.2

We're looking into why that message appears in the updater, but it's normal. You can't update the main component through the automatic updater in Joomla as there's no way to authenticate your subscription. You can update the component from the JFBConnect Overview page.

All other modules and plugins can be updated through the Joomla updater for ease of updating. Once you get the main component up-to-date, simply hit the Purge Cache and Refresh buttons and that should make the list show correctly for what's available for updating.

Hope that helps, but if you have any other questions, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

I'm sorry I think you missed my point - I had already done the update of the main component and followed the actions you recommended and they still show

Thats why I raised the issue, because I dont know how to clear them.

If I clear the cache, they come back next time I do a refresh or when I log back in

Same here :(
update message for k2 plugin won't go away, irrespective of the update method used or cache cleaned.

Thanks for the reports. We've found the issue in our release system and are working to fix it. The 'available' version number is being incorrectly reported as 4.3.3, which is the component version, not the actual plugin versions. If you did an update, and especially if the Open Graph administration page of JFBConnect shows that you have the right versions, you're set.

For now, just ignore the Joomla Update area for those extensions. We will have a fix out soon though.

Thanks,
Alex

The update process should be working now. There is indeed a new version of JFBConnect, and the SourceCoast Library out now. It came out yesterday and fixes some bugs in the 4.3.3 release. We're hoping this will be the last 4.3.x release while we work on JFBConnect v5.0 which adds support for Joomla 3.0 and some other new features.

To upgrade the main component, you'll need to use the installer on the Overview page or re-download it from our site. That will actually upgrade the Library as well.

For more information on the latest release, see the full JFBConnect Changelog .

Hope that helps,
Alex

To upgrade the main component, you'll need to use the installer on the Overview page.... That will actually upgrade the Library as well.

Done and all seem to be Ok, now JFBConnect is the 4.3.4 and there is no more "SourceCoast Extensions Library 1.0.11" update available.

But, I still have the same upgrading problem I described here:
www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...upgrading-to-new-433
about the 4 updates available:
- JFBCComment module
- JFBCRaccomandationsbar module
and
- Content plugin
- Custom plugin

We did fix an issue with the updater that should have fixed the constant reporting of some extensions needing to be updated. At that time, we could recreate the problem. Right now though, we can't.

Can you, once more, go through the following process:
* Purge Cache and then hit Refresh
* Check and hit Update next to the JFBConnect extensions.
* Purge Cache and then hit Refresh.

Then, let us know the version number that is being reported as available for each extension that won't go away after you try to update it. That will help us narrow down where something might be going wrong.

Thanks,
Alex

2 Clicking on Find Updates

...Doesn't show 1 module...

3 Checking and hiting Update next to the 3 JFBConnect extensions shown (1 per time = I have back always the same message):

4 Purge Cache and then hit Refresh = the same as before

5 Then, let us know the version number that is being reported as available for each extension that won't go away after you try to update it:
