I've completed every step of the installation but when I click the Import Connections button on the UserMap tab nothing happens. I have 7 JomSocial users who have connected to their facebook accounts and I don't know how to get their information migrated from JomSocial to JFBConnect. Please assist.

Just to make sure, do you have the JomSocial Profile plugin enabled? Beyond that, clicking the Import button should just work and we haven't heard of any issues as to why it shouldn't.

If it's still not, can you let us know what version of JomSocial you're using? That may help us diagnose the possible issue.

Thanks,
Alex

I'm using JomSocial 2.6.2 on Joomla 2.5.8 and the plugin is enabled.

I've tried clicking it while using IE 10, Chrome, and through Safari on my iPad. I set debug mode on and there are no errors. Is there any way I can manually move the data from table to table through MySQL?

Alex,

I sent you a private message with the admin info so you can see what is happening with the site.

Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in checking out the site. I'm not sure why, but there was a Javascript error that was occurring when you clicked the "Import Connections" button. I was able to get around it and run the migration regardless, so you should be good to go now and things should just work. When a user logs in using JFBConnect now, they may get a new popup if you have different permission requirements than were used on JomSocial, but once logged in, they will be logged in as the same Joomla/JomSocial user they were before.

Hope that helps!
Alex

Thanks! This has been the best customer support experience I've had with a component developer so far!

Glad to hear we got you going and very happy to hear we lived up to your expectations. We feel that support is as, if not more, important than a good extension. If you run into issues, you need service to back things up.

Anyways, should you need anything else or have any questions or comments, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:

Thanks, and best of luck with your site,
Alex
