Hi,
I have just installed 4.3.2 and I am trying to click the like button on my page - when I do this I get a stack overflow - You can see this from the image attached.
It does seem to carry on and add the like

The website is www.fgatest.com that I am testing on

Hi, Is it possible to give me an update on whether anyone else is having this issue, or what may be causing it?

I am keen to help in any way possible to resolve this issue

I just tested in IE9 and IE10 and wasn't able to recreate the error. We do have IE8 to test with, but it's on a different system that I won't be able to test with until later today. I did a search of Facebook bugs, and couldn't find any recently like what you mention and we haven't heard this from any other users. So, not sure whether it's your site or your computer, but we'll help how we can.

In the meantime, can you try the following:
* Try from a different computer with IE
* On the same computer, close IE. Then go to Start -> Accessories -> System Tools -> InternetExplorer (No Add Ons). Try again with IE in that 'clean' mode and see if the issue still happens.

Let us know your results.

Thanks,
Alex

I have a repro on my site.
If you go to the Page "Race reviews", there are 5 seperate articles on it.
If you like the first article (facebook updates it to say you have liked it) - if you then immediately page down to the next article without refreshing the page and like the next, the stack overflow occurs (and the page is liked properly in Facebook as you would expect).
I have tried this in Firefox, and in the IE no addon as you asked - same problem.
I hope this helps to help identify how I can work around this as I need to have multiple likes on one webpage?

I made an error in my previous post - it works fine in Firefox, its just IE 8 that it doesnt work in, although I dont have IE9 or 10, so I dont know if its the same in that.

Are you still investigating this for me, as my go live is this weekend coming, so I need advice before then on how to move forward

Rich,
Sorry for not getting back to you immediately. We've been doing some testing and can recreate this our own Demo site when multiple Like buttons are clicked on the same page when using IE8.

From investigation, it's an issue with 'odd' security settings that only IE7 and IE8 use. IE9 and IE10 do not exhibit this problem from our testing and research. We're trying to figure out if there's anything we can do to get around the issue, but from our research, it's all on Facebook's side to fix. We're still looking into it, but it may simply be a bug we can't get around for now.

We'll let you know what we find. The good news is that it does seem limited to just those browsers and only if the user clicks the Like multiple times.

Hope that helps at least explain, and we'll let you know if we find a solution for the IE8 issue.

Thanks,
Alex
