There was a bug in the v4.3.1 release. We actually just released v4.3.2 of JFBConnect to fix that issue. To fix, either enable the JFBCSystem plugin (which will get rid of that error) and then on the Overview page you should be able to automatically update. The auto-update may not appear for a few hours as it can take some time for it to refresh it's data.

Alternatively, download the new v4.3.2 zip file from the My Subscriptions area and install that.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and hope that helps get you going,
Alex

It sounds like there's a permission or user ownership problem with the /administrator/components/com_jfbconnect directory. Since Joomla can't delete files or copy them to directories in that folder, that's a problem. I'd recommend looking (or having your server company look) at the permissions of that directory and it's sub-directory to make sure they have the right permissions for Joomla to be able to write to them.

Beyond that, I don't think there's anything we can do within JFBConnect to help this behavior.

Please let us know how it goes, and good luck,
Alex

That's a different issue than the one mentioned above. Your problem sounds like you already installed v4.3.x before but then downgraded to a 4.2 or earlier version. If you did that, it becomes more complex as JFBConnect isn't meant to be downgraded due to changes in its database structure with each release.

Let me know anything you've done with your installation that we should know about to help understand your situation a little better, and we'll help you get things going as best we can.

Also, please let us know what version the Overview page of JFBConnect says your main component is at after the failed upgrade.

Thanks,
Alex
