Hello, Alex!

Thanks for your quick responses! I apologize to you for the delay of my answers.

It has been quite valuable to its aid and attendance, because this way I managed to evolve a lot in the configuration and access to the site using the "Login with Facebook". However, I'm still facing some critical issues which are impeding the use of the tool on my site:

1. As I can only perform the login automatically on my site, so I decided to import the fields from Facebook to my site JomSocial, but I still can not import the required field "Genre" of Facebook.

I sought a solution through its help file in the file and also jomsocial.php usermap.php, but I did not get any success with the creation and integration of the fields.

Thus, I would like your help one more time to resolve this issue, ie to import the field "Gender" as JomSocial integrated with other fields.

2. When a user is logged in / active on Facebook and he visits my site, FJB Connect is registering that user automatically, without his having clicked on the "Login with Facebook" or any other button.

Thus, I would like your help to prevent this from happening, because no user can be registered unless he has decided this.

Again I ask your attention and your help on these events, because this way I will not be able to use the JFB Connect on my site.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Paulo Rodrigues

Paulo,
1) Regarding the gender field, did you implement the code change we mentioned above? Are you able to see the "Gender" field in the Profiles area of JFBConnect? If so, what is going wrong right now?

2) The automatic registration only happens when you're testing on your site. Any user visiting your site for the first time *must* click the Login with Facebook button and 'approve' your application in the popup that appears. After that, they will be automatically logged in when they return to your site. If you delete the user on your site, and that user returns they will have an account automatically created for them. If you want to stop a user from registering, you should block them. If you want to test with the same user, you should go to the Apps Settings area for your Facebook user and delete the app. That will force you to click the Login with Facebook button again to get into the site.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Hello! Alex,

Sorry for the delay in my response!
Thanks for the great help and fast, my friend. All the aforementioned issues were all resolved with your great help, thanks!

However, I am now with a following problem:

Facebook is not displaying the pop-up that asks users permission to run Apps in their respective accounts.

Picture attached: Pop-up window that should Facebook is displayed on the first user access using the "Login with Facebook" (JFB Connect):

File Attachment:

1. How or where can I configure the JFB Connect is to display the pop-up again?

I wait for your help!
Thank you!

Best regards!

Paulo,
The popup only appears the first time a user needs to approve the App. Once approved, the popup will no longer show. If you want to see the popup again, you need to go into Facebook -> Account Settings -> Apps and then delete your app. That will force you to re-approve it on the next visit.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Paulo,
Glad to hear you got everything going. I'll close the topic after I post this. Should you need anything else, just create a new post and we'll gladly help how we can.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
