We found a bug report that's similar to yours. Basically, there are multiple translation issues with the Recommendations widget that Facebook is aware of. The language isn't always right, and will revert to English in some cases. This isn't something we can fix in JFBConnect.

Feel free to use the "Does this repro describe your issue?" link on that page and describe what you're seeing. It will help Facebook if they see that more users are affected, and unhappy, about the problem.
