If i want to go to the overviewpage i get this error:

500 - Es ist ein Fehler aufgetreten

String could not be parsed as XML

Zurück zum Kontrollzentrum

Only on the overview page!

On autotune page i get this error:
getAuthorization - Error: Could not communicate with SourceCoast.com to fetch up-to-date information.

What can be wrong?

That issue is caused when your site can't fetch the Facebook App recommendations from our site, which is needed to run Autotune. The following are the main reasons that can happen:
* Your server has a firewall or other blocking tool that is preventing outgoing communication to sourcecoast.com. You'd need to lift that restriction.
* cURL is being manually disabled. cURL is what is used to make requests for information both to sourcecoast.com and to Facebook and is required on your site. On our Basic Info screen in Autotune, we check to see if cURL is part of PHP. However, it still may be disabled on your system. Can you go to the Joomla System Information area and then click on "PHP Information". Search for "disabled_functions" and see if any values in there mention 'curl' in anyway. If so, you'll need to contact your server support and tell them to *not* disable cURL.

Hope that helps, but if not, let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for your fast answer!
No. cURL support is enabled and a firewall is also not installed. I have 2 joomla systems on my space one for testing and one for the website. Your component works fine with the testing system! But if I install it on my website i get this strange errors. It's all on the same webserver.

Very strange, and I can't say I know why that would be happening. Would it be possible to have admin access to the site that isn't working so we can understand your configuration more? If so, you can PM us the details by clicking the arrow under my avatar (<----) and hitting the mail icon.

If not, would you be able to cut/paste the full PHP Information page from your site? You can send that via private message as well as there may be some details about your site you might not want public.

Thanks,
Alex

Since today I have the problem on the test system too. Maybe it is really a firewall enabled. I talk with my Provider and make some tests.

Dieter,
Let us know if you continue to have issues or need further assistance from us. We'll do what we can to help, but the problem definitely seems like a server-side configuration issue of some sort.

Best of luck,
Alex

Dieter,
I got your PMs and am glad to hear things are going well now. I'm not sure what changed or why it would have just started working, but if you run into any other problems, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex
