No problem for the questions! The Fanbox works with a Fan Page on Facebook. If you don't already have a Page, you can create one here:
www.facebook.com/pages/create.php

The Fan box will not work with a user profile though, you will need a Page.

Once you create the Page, then you can simply add the URL into the JFBCFan module and it should display as you want.
