Hi, I'm already noticed that under the Facebook Developers Policies on section Features and Functionality Number 11 www.developers.facebook.com/policy
11. The primary purpose of your Canvas or Page Tab app on Facebook must not be to simply redirect users out of the Facebook experience and onto an external site.

I've just tested in my site, PayPal is not working under the Facebook Canvas or Page environment. I also browse SourceCoast website and click on Pay with PayPal, Google Checkout e.t.c. also nothing happen.

The only way to solve this is to get my page outside the canvas with Link targeted to the New Window. Is this also contribute to the policy violation? I dont want my Apps to be removed from Facebook and also dont want to lose money from my customer. Any suggestion?

Ezybuzz,
We try to work very hard to stay within the App Policies from Facebook. Our Requests feature allows you (the admin) to setup requests that can redirect from the Canvas page as well and we specifically call out that policy number you mention.

In general, we've never heard of any of our users having our app disabled for redirecting from the App Canvas. We definitely do recommend having some 'purpose' for your App Canvas other than just to redirect.. so, if the user navigates your site in the Canvas, but can't do a specific thing while in there (making a payment), when navigating to that page, it'd be ok (in our opinion and reading of the terms) to pop the user out at that point.

The same goes for Requests. Some requests are better to leave the user within your App Canvas, others are not. As long as not all of your Requests pop the user out, that's a good indication that the 'primary purpose' isn't to simply navigate away.

Finally, we'll have to look into the payment issue you mentioned with SourceCoast. Hadn't heard of that before so we'll have to test ourselves, and possibly implement something like I mentioned above.

Hope that helps explain, but feel free to let us know if you have any other questions or comments.

Thanks,
Alex
