Hello,

Thank you very much for a great extension. I am having a problem/conflict on www.pro-relate.nl. Login with facebook button is not working, is just text. There must be some javascript conflict but I can not find it. As far as I can see all the Facebook-intergration options in other components and in the template are OFF. Now even Widgetkit gallery on the frontpage isn't loading (it did work earlier this evening when SC login was enabled). I have Widgetkit, Zoo and Ohanah app installed, I have turned their FB-integrations OFF. Can you please have a look and suggest the solution?

Thank you very much,

Anes

Anes,
The problem is that the language you're using is not compatible with Facebook. The language locale specified is NL_nl. I believe you've used the "Language Locale Override" setting in JFBConnect to specify that. I'd recommend either removing that locale so JFBConnect uses your site locale automatically *or* change that to nl_NL, which doesn't work. I think you just used capitals on the wrong side of the locale.

Hope that helps, but if not, let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Woow, thanks for the quick reply in the weekend!
You are right, the language locale override was not correct, I have removed it and the button is working now. However, when I click on the button I get forwarded to component/jfbconnect/?view=loginregister&return=Lw== and I get a blank page. When I return to home I see I am not logged in.

What's happenning?

Anes,
No problem for the help on the weekend. We provide support all the time because we know our users are working all the time!

As for your current issue, there's a few possible causes:
* The URL is being made into an SEF URL. If you're using a 3rd party SEF extension (sh404SEF, AceSEF, etc), please make sure it's set to 'skip' or use 'no router' or something similar for JFBConnect. Almost all 3rd party extensions allow the skipping of pretty URLs per extension, and that can help with these issues.
*** If you're using Joomla's built-in SEF system, don't worry about any changes.
* Check what JFBConnect Profile plugins you have enabled. If you have, for instance, the JomSocial profile plugin enabled, but don't have JomSocial installed, disable that plugin. Do the same for any other profile plugins (or even disable them all to test).

One of those should hopefully fix your issue, but if not, let us know!

Thanks,
Alex
