JFBLike 2 million plus likes? Not likely since I just put it up. For some reason it is showing what I am perceiving to be the ability to like Facebook.com somehow. Any help could be appreciated. The site address is www.immortaldescendants.org

Thanks

The Like URL that's using for the button is:

http://www.immortaldescendants.org layout=box_count

So, something's not right there. Can you tell me how you're configuring that Like button? Are you using the {JFBCLike} tag or the JFBCLike module? If the tag, can you paste the full tag that you're using below? If it's the module, let me know how you have the parameters set (especially the URL Link).

Something in the settings is causing the URL to be wonky and we just need to get to the bottom of that.

Thanks,
Alex

The Code is a Custom HTML Module and the is:

{JFBCLike href=http://www.immortaldescendants.org layout=box_count show_faces=false show_send_button=false width=300 action=like font=verdana colorscheme=dark}

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm.. I just tried that exact tag on our JFBConnect Demo site and it worked as expected and showed 21 Likes. I'm not sure what could be causing the problem with that tag.

Can you try switching the editor in the Custom HTML module you're using to "No Editor" so that you can see the raw tag you're trying to insert? When you look, make sure that it looks proper in there and doesn't have any special characters for the spaces in between the URL and layout parameter. All I can guess is that a 'pretty' editor is masking some extra characters that are inadvertently being inserted in there.

If that doesn't work, try re-typing in the full tag manually (don't copy and paste or you'll get the extra characters if they exist) and try again with the same, or even a different, URL.

Let us know how that goes, and good luck!
Alex
