There seems to be a difference with the links the like-buttons use in the K2 category listing than it use in the article itself. In the listing the URL include "component/k2" in its url. Which gives two different ratings. Please see attachments

How can we fix this??

Edit: it may help to see the site itsef :)

Hmm.. Haven't seen that issue before. We should be using the same URL for both, obviously. Can you let me know how you're showing the articles on the home page like that? Is that a menu item for a K2 blog, or a module, or something else? We'll need to recreate your setup and test to understand where our link generation is going awry.

Sorry for the troubles, but we'll help you get to the bottom of it. It may take a day (or so) to understand and fix the issue though.

Thanks,
Alex

It is just a standard K2 categories menu item. It may have something to do with that I use "Use URL rewriting" in the administration setup to get more cleaner url's, but it doesnt quite work if I turn it off either...

If it is no bother I could give you my admin details to look more closely at this..

Let us do some testing to recreate. It shouldn't be that difficult from the information you've provided. It may take until early next week to get you an answer, as I'm not immediately sure why this would be happening. However, it definitely seems like a bug, we'll just need to recreate it and understand why it's happening (and why we haven't caught it sooner).

If we can't recreate it, we'll definitely ask for admin access so that we can understand your configuration more.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry, unfortunately, we haven't. We meant to test this earlier this week, but we got sidetracked by some bigger issues. The plan is to currently try to recreate this by tomorrow night and do what we can to narrow down the cause. We haven't heard of this from other users so are confused what could be the cause, but definitely want to get to the bottom of it now that some of the more critical issues have been tackled for some other users.

We'll keep you posted and hopefully have some details in the next day or so.

Thanks,
Alex

Peter,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to this. We're hoping to earlier in the week, but have done a bit of testing. Unfortunately, we can't recreate the issue. For an example of what we see (with SEF URLs disabled), we have a K2 blog view setup on our demo site:
demo.sourcecoast.com/index.php?option=co...gory&id=1&Itemid=173
That page has multiple articles in it. The URLs for the articles in the blog view on the Like button are the same as for the URLs when you click into the article. You can also see that the URLs are:
http://demo.sourcecoast.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=2:social-media-marketing-tips&Itemid=172

When we enable Joomla's SEF URLs, we get a URL like:
http://demo.sourcecoast.com/k2-blog-view/item/1-how-to-integrate-facebook-with-your-joomla-website
That URL also is used for the Like button in blog views.

As you'll notice in the SEF URL above, the k2-blog-view (which is the menu item name) is displayed in the URL. On your site, the menu item isn't displayed. That's not normal Joomla behavior. Do you know why (or what) is stripping the menu item from the URL or anything else that may be configured to change the SEF URLs? If you're using a 3rd party SEF extension or plugin, that would be great to know as well.

Finally, if you don't know what's happening, then I guess now would be the time to send us admin credentials if you're ok with that. You can private message them to me by clicking the arrow under my name (<----) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for looking into this
I do not use any particular SEF component, no. All I have done that may have some someinfluence in this is to activate the "Use URL rewriting" under SEO settings in configuration menu, thou I have tried switching it on and off. I'll send you my admin details now, if its ok. I hope you find out about this :/

Another question: is there an easy way overlook all FB comments on our site? To see if and where someone hve written on our site?
