For the past couple days members have been receiving the error "The page you requested was not found" when they are accessing the site from their iPhone using the Safari browser. It happens when they click the FB login button. Another window opens to authenticate at FB but then errors out.

I just did a couple tests and it appears to work fine using the same browser on my iPad and when using browsers on my PC. Seems to be specific just to iPhones. Any thoughts?

Tracy,
This is a known issue with Facebook's Javascript library. It's been reported in the bug report below:
developers.facebook.com/bugs/280811108698311

We recommend using the "Does this repro describe your issue?" link and adding your site to the ones that are affected. We'd also mention you are using JFBConnect, as that may help prioritize things since we work on a lot of sites.

Hope that helps. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do on our end about this issue, it's completely on Facebook's side.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex. I've submitted a report. Now we sit and see how long it takes them to fix it. ;)

If it's marked as High, and affects a decent amount of people (which it seems to be), I think it shouldn't take more than a few days for an update to be pushed out.

Keep us posted if there's no resolution!

Adem,
I believe you're experiencing a different problem. The original thread is about the login functionality when used from the iPhone. Not sure if you're on a mobile phone when testing or not, but if your issue is with the Like button, it's a different problem.

If so, please create a *new* thread for your issue so that these 2 problems aren't confused. When you do, please include the URL of the site where we can see the Like button and any other information we could use to recreate the problem.

Thanks,
Alex
