1)This has been bothering me for some time but the site is to go live soon (karbokane.net) and I need to get all of this figured out, from what I saw of the subscription package I downloaded it should all be in there no? Please advise

2) Auto update is giving me the "cannot extract archive" message and I'd like to fix that if I may, manual install is just a few seconds longer a task but still; if I don't gotta, I don't wanna :)

Ivan,
All of those modules are in the main zip file you download from SourceCoast.com. When you unzip the main zip file you get from us, there are some other zips in there. The one with all the modules is jfbconnect_social_modules...zip. Unzip that file and then you can install each of the modules you want to use. You can always use the {JFBCComment}, {JFBCLike}, etc tags without having the modules installed. The modules just help you to use those widgets in module positions.

Not sure about the cannot extract archive. Haven't heard of that issue. My best guess is that there's a permissions issue for where the file is being downloaded to and read from. Can you go into the System Info area of Joomla and check that all the directories are green/writeable? That's not a guarantee of permissions being correct, but it's a good start.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you, I got the plugins working, couldn't find the folder at first so i re-downloaded the package and found em.
Thank you for the info about permissions, it didn't solve the problem though so I wonder what it could be.

A problem arose with the SCLogin module, it doesn't connect to facebook for login for some reason.. just flashes a blank window and closes and does not redirect or login my users... any advice?

edit: tested in IE - it goes to www.facebook.com/plugins/close_popup.php with the user info in the string link that is required to grab but does not grab or create a new account, just sits there, so im guessing the javascript isnt communicating from the popup to the site?

Ivan,
Yes, that would be a problem. Autotune should have configured those settings properly, but it's always good to check.

Glad you found the problem!

Alex
