Tracy,
No, not yet. When we originally planned that feature, the new Timeline / Activity stream on Facebook hadn't been implemented. Shortly after we posted that plan, the Open Graph Actions were introduced by Facebook which allow 'events' like posting or commenting to go into a user's timeline. It's not always as visible as a post, but it's much more accommodating to not be called spam, in case the user creates many posts... those should continuously get posted to the users wall.
With all that said, we don't support Open Graph Actions.. yet.. either. That will be coming in the 4.4 release coming out at the end of September or October. We'll have a plugin system for things like Kunena, MyBlog and others where you can easily add actions (posts, comments, read, etc) that will automatically be put to the user's Facebook timeline when done. Facebook can then decide which actions are right for that user's friend to see in their full wall versus just the activity stream.
We're very excited about the new system and flexibility it offers, and it's definitely been a long time in the making.
Hope that helps explain!
Alex
