Jumping log in button was created by pausch
Thanks for a fab extension! I had been struggling with the JomSocial one for days ...

Just one tiny little thing .. if you go to the site www.fabulous-women.co.uk/ you'll see the log in bar jumps about a bit just before the "log in with facebook" button is displayed.

1. Is there anyway I can prevent this happening?
2. Where can I change the button to something slightly different?

TIA

It's annoying. They changed their button back in July and now it does this jumping thing on some websites. Both your questions have the same answer though. In the SCLogin module, there's a Button Type parameter which you can change from Javascript (the default) to image. Then, there's an image parameter you can use to specify an image to use instead. You can just take a picture of the standard Login with Facebook button, or go crazy and make your own.

Hope that helps, but if you have any other questions or issues, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

HI .. thanks

I've tried using the SCLogin plugin instead but it simply opens a Facebook window which says "Error. Please try again."

Any other ideas or is this something I'm just going to have to live with?

Regards

I just tried clicking the Login with Facebook button on your site, but I'm not seeing the error you mention. Usually, when that happens, it means there's a misconfiguration with your Facebook app *or* multiple Facebook extensions running on your site and conflicting with each other.

Are you still seeing the problem? If so, can you try with a different Facebook user? Are you actually able to login at all, or does that box just stay there? I'd assume no login would actually occur.

If it persists, let us know if there's a specific page this happens on more or somewhere that we should be able to recreate it.

It's definitely not something you should have to live with,
Alex
