I did have System conservative caching on, turned it off, purged cache and expired cache, still re-logs in the person who just logged out. I only know of the system cache, are there other Joomla caching systems at work which I may turn off/modify?
I did clear the browser cache as well.
Since I have not seen anyone else post about this, I wonder if it is my install that is creating the problem. Sometimes when I close a module set up on the Admin side, it get a note saying I can't access that (upon my exit) and I see that in the module list that the module is not "checked in." It takes me two tries to check it in. That can't be right.
I hear warnings for admins to check if there are Java library conflicts, but I don't know how to discover a conflict. Is there a program which will accomplish this?
Thanks for your advice,
Jerry
PS- Have two sites with up-to-date Joomla (2.5.6), JFBConnect (2.4.2) running up-to-date YooTheme templates. RainCityDigs runs on PHP 5.2.9 and WritingPractice runs on PHP 5.3.14. they do have different Yoo templates, but both are current versions (Aug 2012). WritingPractice is the one that re-logs you in immediately. RainCityDigs behaves as it should when you log out and leaves you alone.
