After making the decision to purchase JFBConnect because of the supposed support, I have attempted to contact Alex for support with no results. Can anyone out there please help me? My problem is that when someone clicks the like button that I installed from JFBConnect a string of code is sent and put on their fb wall. A string of code that I do not want sent that is in the description info with the image. In the article I have added the Meta description that I want sent and also added in the article body the SCOpen Graph description that I want sent and still get the string of code showing. I have called SourceCoast and left messages. I have sent emails. This latest problem is a real kicker. The problem seems to go away when I turn off the Open Graph enabled but so do some of the features that I want. The web site I am needing to open up to the public is working beautifully EXCEPT for the JFBConnect fb like/send button. There are many offered free but my husband wanted to purchase JFBConnect simply for the support.

krmorrow,
I'm not sure how you've tried to contact us, but this is the first post you've made. Our support forums are where support is provided. We do monitor our Contact Us form for support related questions, but explicitly state on that form that it's not intended for technical assistance. Looking through those requests, I haven't seen any, so I'm not sure where your emails have gone. Finally, our phone number is not monitored for technical assistance at all, and it's not even provided on this site. For the rates we charge, there's simply no way we can provide phone technical support to all users.

As for your issue, can you please post the 'string of code' your seeing in the wall post? That will help us understand what the issue could be.

One thing to try is using the Facebook Debug Tool, which will check your page's tags and show you what it thinks it sees:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
That tool also has the benefit of updating Facebook's cache with any title, description or image changes you make. Otherwise, if you change the SCOpenGraph tag, Facebook may not 'see' the change for up to a week. If you use the Debug Tool and see the weird characters, please send us the link to the URL you are trying to debug as well.

Thanks,
Alex

Just wanted to follow up on this to see if the above helped. We feel bad that you tried to use some alternate methods to contact us and that delayed your support, so just want to make sure we get you all fixed up as quickly as possible.

I'm glad to hear that the Like button was the only problem you ran into, and hopefully everything else is going well!

Let us know! We'll be here to help,
Alex
