Hi - I am wondering if it is possible to add "I accept Terms and Condition" radio button in the User Registration form, with terms and condition linking to a Joomla/K2 article or appearing in a Pop Up.

Many Thanks
Best

Ok I have managed to find a commercial extension which seems to do this. It is called ExtendedReg www.jvitals.com/extensions/buy-now.html?view=products&id=2

Before purchasing the same however I would like your opinion if it will cause any conflicts with JFBConnect. It does mention that all additional data will still go into Joomla's _users table.

Thanks in advance

If all you're looking for is the Terms and Conditions box, you can actually just enable the User - Profiles plugin that is a part of Joomla. In the configuration of that plugin, you can disable all the other fields and simply leave the Terms and Conditions field enabled. Probably a simpler method, but editing the terms can be more annoying if I remember correctly.

As for working with ExtendedReg, unfortunately, we don't have a profile integration plugin that works with that extension. It's something we're looking into having available later this year, but I can't guarantee any timelines on that. Until then, you will not be able to show fields from ExtendedReg in the JFBConnect registration flow and you won't be able to import Facebook profile information into ExtendedReg.

Hope that helps get you started with another idea though, and let us know if you need anything else!

Hey Alex - This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the tip :). Editing the terms seems to be quite straight forward now - you have to chose a joomla article and the contents are displayed in a pop up (No K2 support but I ain't complaining).

Cheers!

Fantastic! Glad to hear we could help. ExtendedReg actually looks really good from what we've seen and heard, but for your needs, it'd be a bit of overkill. Happy I could also point out one of those hidden features of Joomla to you as well :)

Should you need anything else, just let us know. Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory for JFBConnect, or our support. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated!

Thanks, and good luck,
