Hello there - I am testing this component (JFBConnnect) for a new site I am developing. This is the first time I am using this component and require some assistance.

I am using this plugin in conjunction with K2 and looking for a way so that users can access and modify their K2 user profile after creating account/signining in via facebook. So far I have not been able to find a way to do that. This is what is happening:

1. User Signs in with facebook - automatically a K2 user is created according to settings in profiles-K2 tab.
2. The user can continue to browse the site, post comments etc and can logout.
But I do not see a way for the user to edit their profile. This is a deal breaker for us since some user categories need a detailed description which is not available via facebook. Is this possible? Many thanks.

K2 simply modifies the default Joomla User Details forms and adds their own fields to it. You can direct the user to the page below, and if you have K2 setup properly (mainly the K2 System plugin enabled, I believe), the user should see their profile details there and be able to edit them:
index.php?option=com_users&view=profile&layout=edit

Thanks for the response Alex. This had nothing to do with JFBConnect component and was rather my lack of understanding the K2 behaviour.

I have now been able to successfully add menu options to edit the profiles, add articles and other options. Thanks again.

No problem for the help. Didn't think it was ever an issue with JFBConnect, but we have no problem helping to clarify things wherever we can. If you need anything else, just let us know!

Finally, please consider leaving a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory for JFBConnect, or our support. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated!
