When you uninstall JFBConnect, the database tables are not removed. Because we store information about how a Facebook account is 'mapped' to a Joomla account, as well as all the settings, we don't want to destroy that information when user's uninstall. Most users who uninstall are simply going to be installing an upgraded version of JFBConnect shortly after and loosing that data or having to reconfigure would be painful. If you really need to remove the tables, you can go into your database and remove any xyz_jfbconnect tables (there are 4 of them).

However, that really shouldn't be necessary. Can you give any more information about what is happening? We've never heard of settings reverting before. Is this after some time after saving, or do the values you want never save? Are you using some custom admin template other than the default Joomla one? If so, please try going back to the original and try again.

Other than that, any information you can provide would be very helpful for us to get you the best solution.

Thanks!
Alex

If you go here and press like it flickers then goes off. But only works when you click the second time
csunrugby.com/index.php/blog
It saves it to my personal wall : www.facebook.com/Coach.M.Wilson

But when I’m logged in on the club time line page (www.facebook.com/CSUNMensRugby) on the club blog page it shows my face and asks “Switch Back”(csunrugby.com/index.php/blog).

That's because you're "Using Facebook As a Page" option. That doesn't work with Like buttons and some other social widgets. Like buttons generally have to be clicked by "user profiles" not by Fan Pages. Since anyone can create unlimited Fan Pages, they can't be used to Like things because that would allow inflated Likes to be cast.

Hope that makes sense. To fix, you should go to Facebook.com, click the down arrow in the top right, and switch back to your user profile.

I understand. Have to be login on face book with profile. But what about the flicker

If you hit the like the first time you see the comments for a split second you have to click it again to leave a comment

I'm not seeing that behavior (Chrome on Windows). When I click the Like button, the comment box appears and I can easily type a comment and post it to my profile. If I don't do anything for about 10-15s, the comment box does go away, but the Like is properly posted to my account. That's the expected behavior. I clicked Like on the top 3 articles.

Can you try from a different browser, or let me know which one you are using?

Thanks,
Alex

I have tried it at work first click it is up for a split second. You have to click the second time for it to stay up. and it does not do a total count for all the likes just shows "1"

I'm still not seeing that in Chrome or Firefox on Windows. I went to your page (in Chrome) and Liked the 2nd and 3rd article (GPE Partners with.. and Pacheco Confirms). The comment box appeared normally in each when I did. I then went to the same page in Firefox and I could see the Like count for both articles was properly showing as '1'.

Is it possible to try from another computer or while logged out of Facebook or while logged into Facebook with a different user than you're currently testing with? None of that should be necessary, but if we can narrow the issue down some, that would greatly help.

Thanks,
Alex
