I'm having A LOT OF PROBLEMS with the installations of this! Can you please help me?
When I installed the file named "com_jfbconnect_j2.5_v4.2.2.zip" I got a message that says "Error Building: Admin Menus".

Also... ON MY FACEBOOK, when I created the APP ID, it shows a message that says that I don't have a valid domain. Please take a look of the attachment!

Besides this... I have a mess with the JFB Comments on my website, take a look: www.PeopleNJ.com
Please help me! I'm not a programmer :S

Peoplenj,
I created a new thread for your topic because it really wasn't related to where you posted earlier. Please try not to respond to other posts unless they are having the same issues as you. Otherwise, create a new one.

For the "Error Building Admin Menus" issue, that's a Joomla bug in J1.6 and J1.7. I'm not sure what version of Joomla you're using, but I'd assume it's one of those. If so, we'd highly, highly recommend upgrading to Joomla 2.5.4. There have been multiple critical security vulnerabilities which have been fixed since 1.7 and J1.6 and J1.7 are no longer supported in any way by Joomla.org.

To fix the problem, you will need to uninstall JFBConnect and then reinstall it. That should help rebuild the menus. If you're on J2.5, your chances are better of this working. Unfortunately, there's no guarantee that that will work because of how the bug works. If it doesn't, let us know. You'll need to run a few MySQL queries to update your database properly.

For the valid domain, you didn't attach anything. When you upload it, you need to hit the green checkmark next to it to insert it into the page. Some possible solutions (without seeing the problem)... did you run Autotune to configure your FB App? Is the domain field shown in Autotune correct?

Finally, for comments, I didn't see any on your site. Can you point me to a page with issues?

Thanks,
Alex

Yeah I'm using Joomla 1.7 actually, which could be the reason of the bugs you mentioned.

About the Facebook "Invalid domain" issue that I'm having, this is what it shows:

And about the Autotune here is the image:

And with the comments, somehow they're working now but I'll let you know if I have any other problem.
Thanks for your great support!

The domain shouldn't include http:// in it. Simply change that to "peoplenj.com".

I can't tell if the admin menu issues has been cleared up. Have you upgraded to Joomla 2.5 and tried to uninstall/reinstall JFBConnect yet?

Glad to hear the comments are working now, but if you run into anything else, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
