Hi, I use Ohanah in my website, however I could not use Onahah Facebook comments on my website. I got an annoying "Warning page address is unreachable" message. I also like the options JFBConnect offers. So I just subscribed.

Following the tutorials I have been configuring JFBConnect and I have been successful in including Facebook likes and comments in regular Joomla Articles, however I cannot include Facebook likes and comments (JFBConnect style) on my Ohanah events. Before subscribiing to JFBConnect I read this was possible. Would you be so kind to explain me how?. Thanks in advance!

Eduardo,
Thanks for the subscription!

We've honestly never used Ohanah, other than when helping users with some JFBConnect / Ohanah issues that people had run into in the past. As for adding the JFBComments, can you let me know how you're trying to do it, and what's happening? Mainly:
* Are you using the JFBCComments module or the {JFBCComments} tag?
* If using the tag, are you adding it to an Ohanah template page?
* Do you get an error, or just a blank area, or something else?
* Can you post (or Private Message) a URL to page where the Comments should be set up.. but aren't working?

We'll help you get to the bottom of it.

Thanks!
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your quick answer!
I am actually starting to use both extensions. I would like to have Facebook Likes and Comments on each Event (not just a general one website like button). So I think I should use the tag and add it to an Ohanah template pag, right?

What I am going to do right now is ask Ohanah support to tell me which is the Event Template I have to edit (add the JFBConnect tags).

Are my ideas right?

If you still need a link let me know and I will send a guest user info via private message.

Thanks again Alex!

Your ideas sounds spot on! Adding to the template of Ohanah allows you target very specific types of views (just the event details, instead of a listing of all). If you wanted it to display on all Ohanah pages, you could use the JFBCLike/JFBCComment modules and assign them to the Ohanah menu item only.

Hope that helps, but you're definitely on the right track,
Alex
