Hi,

I'm unable to get JFBCLike / Fan etc to show anything at all.

I can see the Module Titles and the blank space where the Facebook stuff is meant to appear, but nothing being populated.

In the JFBCLike module, i added "TESTING" to the Into Text box under Advanced Options and this displays on the site.
When enabled "Powered by JFBConnect" also displays in all modules.

It's not even showing the standard Facebook blue border.

For JFBCFan i tried numerous Facebook page URLS, but all display blank.

Plugins are also not working, i've enabled Facebook (Like & Send) and Twitter to show on all articles, only Twitter shows.

I use JFBConnect an old site, so I'm pretty comfortable setting it up and getting it working. This is the first time i've had any problems, i've been trying to work it out for hours with no luck.

AUTO TUNE gave me all green, all modules installed and enabled.

I'm using the latest version (downloaded this morning - 4.2.1) on Joomla 2.5.4 trying out the new VOXEL theme from Rockettheme - have also tried the default Joomla theme and still get blanks

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Kev,
I've never seen anything like what's happening on your site. Basically, when JFBConnect inserts the Facebook tags into your page, they should look like <fb:tagname ... parameters></fb:tagname> Something on your site is stripping the fb: from each of the tags. So, for the JFBCFan (like box), what shows on your site is:
<like-box show_faces="true" header="true" stream="true" force_wall="false" width="292" height="360" href="https://www.facebook.com/wollongonghawks" colorscheme="light" border_color="black"></like-box>
In the opening and closing tag, the fb: is missing.

Can you try with a different template, and see if that helps? Something is optimizing your site, or specifically looking for Facebook tags and removing them, and I'm a bit clueless as to what that could be.

Hope that gets you started, and definitely let us know what you find or if you continue to have issues!

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for your tips.

Finally solved it - Disabling the compress JS option of the "rokbooster" plugin did the trick.

Weird. Not sure what Rokbooster is doing, but glad to hear that got you going! Thanks for letting us know what the ultimate solution was, as well, so that we know for future reference.

Thanks,
Alex
